Dr. Sayeed Unisa is a former Professor of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at IIPS, Mumbai, with over 30 years of experience in research and teaching. She has led major studies on nutrition, maternal health, and infertility for UNICEF, WHO, World Bank, and assisted Reproductive Technologies in the Global South and North. A PhD from IIPS and trained at the London School of Hygiene, she has published 100+ scholarly articles, five books and supervised 19 PhDs. She is a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and an IUSSP member.
