Dr. Rashmi
Biostatistics, Ageing & Population Health Research
Rashmi is a health researcher and doctoral fellow in Biostatistics and Demography at the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai. Her research focuses on ageing, chronic diseases, disability, and population health, with a strong interest in quantitative and data-driven approaches to public health research. She currently serves as a Project Research Scientist-II in an ICMR-funded study on ageing and health. Trained in biostatistics and demographic methods, she has extensive experience in survival analysis, statistical modelling, and health data analytics. Her research has contributed to understanding child health, mortality, ageing, and health inequalities, with publications in international peer-reviewed journals. Rashmi is committed to generating evidence that informs public health policy and improves health outcomes across the life course.
