How to Submit

Submissions are accepted only through our online Manuscript Submission Portal below. We do not accept submissions by email.

1. General Guidelines

The Research Wise welcomes original, unpublished contributions on demography, development, social policy, governance, public health, and contemporary public issues. Submissions must not be under consideration elsewhere.

2. Editorial Process

1. Submission & acknowledgement — Submit through the portal below. You'll receive an immediate email confirmation with a private tracking link — use it anytime to check your submission's status. Initial editorial screening follows within 5–7 working days.

2. Review — Articles are reviewed by the editorial team for relevance, originality, and readability.

3. Revision — If revisions are requested, you'll be notified by email. Upload the revised version through your tracking link, along with a short note explaining the changes made.

4. Publication — Selected pieces are featured on The Research Wise website, our LinkedIn page, and other knowledge platforms.

Please note: this is a non-paid contribution initiative for knowledge-sharing and visibility — not a commissioned or compensated placement.

3. Content Types

Choose the type that best matches your piece — this is separate from the subject Category you'll select on the submission form.

  • Research Paper — an empirical or methodology-driven study, presenting original analysis, data, or a structured framework.
  • Policy Article — analysis focused on policy implications or recommendations, drawing on existing evidence rather than presenting new data.
  • Case Study — an in-depth examination of a specific location, institution, or event.
  • Essay / Commentary — a discursive, argument-driven piece exploring a concept, issue, or perspective.
  • Literature Review — a survey and synthesis of existing research on a given topic.

4. Formatting

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.docx) or PDF
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt
  • Spacing: 1.5 lines
  • References: APA style preferred
  • Footnotes: avoid where possible
  • Please number both pages and lines throughout the manuscript, to help reviewers reference specific points in their comments

5. Copyright & Reuse

  • Copyright remains with the author.
  • The Research Wise retains the right to publish the work on its platforms.
  • Republished versions must credit: “First published by The Research Wise.”
