The Research Wise, in collaboration with the Group of Adult Education, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), successfully hosted a Two-Day Online SPSS Workshop on June 13th and 14th, 2025. Delivered completely free of cost to participants, this interactive program brought together students, researchers, and academics for practical, skill-based training in statistical software navigation, data management, and inferential modeling.
Agenda
Day 1
Interface Fundamentals, Data Entry & Descriptive Analytics: Participants explored the core SPSS interface, variable setup, and data entry protocols. The session emphasized essential data cleaning techniques, handling missing values, and generating descriptive statistics paired with clean graphical representations.
Day 2
Inferential Statistics, Regression & Result Reporting: The final day focused on hypothesis testing and parametric analysis, covering ANOVA, correlation, and linear regression models. Participants practiced interpreting output tables and formatting statistical findings into formal research reports.
